Terms of Use
Last updated: February 11, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RDN Identity (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RDN Identity provides identity and access management services including user authentication (passwords, passkeys, magic links, SMS, WhatsApp, and social login via Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Amazon, and LinkedIn), multi-factor authentication, an OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect authorization server, role-based access control with fine-grained permissions, and multi-tenant management with admin-gated account approval. The Service is provided as an identity platform for authorized applications and their users.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including passwords, passkeys, and recovery codes.
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not.
- Providing accurate and current information during registration and profile updates.
- Promptly notifying an administrator if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data that you are not permitted to access.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.
- Use automated tools to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without explicit authorization.
- Share, transfer, or otherwise make your account credentials available to third parties.
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
5. Authentication and Security
The Service supports multiple authentication methods including passwords, passkeys (WebAuthn/FIDO2), authenticator apps, magic links, SMS and WhatsApp verification, and social login via Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Amazon, and LinkedIn. Multi-channel authentication uses a cascading fallback across configured channels.
When you enable multi-factor authentication, you acknowledge that loss of access to your second factor may require administrator intervention to recover your account. Recovery codes should be stored securely and treated with the same care as passwords.
6. Account Registration and Approval
New accounts created through self-registration undergo a three-step email-verified process and are placed in a pending state upon completion. Access to the Service is not granted until an administrator approves both the tenant organization and the individual user account. Administrators may approve, suspend, or disable tenant organizations at any time, which affects all users within that organization. You will be notified by email when your account is approved or when your organization's status changes.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RDN Identity and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these terms. Tenant organizations may be placed in a Suspended or Disabled state by an administrator, which blocks login for all users within that organization. Individual user accounts may also be independently suspended or removed. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RDN Identity and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
